We have some great opportunities to serve coming up already!! The Johnson County team is hoping to have a phone bank event next week on Thursday.

If any other counties would like to post their events on this blog, just email them to me and I will put them up for all to read.....

There are some IOWA events coming up that you won't want to miss:

  • Tagg Romney (Mitt Romney's oldest son) will be visiting Iowa City on March 30th. He will be at the Iowa City Public Library from 10:30 am to 11:15 am spreading the word about his father's presidential campaign. They will be in room "D" of the library.
  • April 4th, the Iowa Romny Headquarters will have it's grand opening in Des Moines. There will be a kick-off party from 5:15 to 6:15 at the new HQ. We will get you the info on the location.
  • After the HQ opening, there will be a TELE-TOWN HALL MEETING at 6:30 pm for about an hour. Mitt Romney will be calling several thousand Iowa supportes via conference call to give us a report on our progress and to field some questions! If you would like to be on the list of those who will recieve a call, please email me your name and phone number to jc4romney2008@gmail.com before this Friday (3/30/07) at noon. Feel free to have a cottage meeting with your friends and family and speaker-phone the call. It is a great way to drum up support.
  • April 19th, Governor Romney will be in Davenport, and on APRIL 20th, he will be in IOWA CITY! We will let you know the details as the time approaches, but for now, assume something around noon.
  • We are already planning for the straw polls in August. MARK YOU CALENDARS! August 11th!!

That is all for now. As a note of encouragement, NOW IS THE TIME TO GET ACTIVE! Find out who your local teams are and let's get movin'! August is only 4 months away!
